The review of my problems had a positive outcome, but in a relatively short consultation it is not possible to think or the most relevant questions and it after leaving that one thinks of the questions to ask. As diet was to be the key to my ongoing improvement, I felt that more should have been made to deal with my diet. It would not have taken long.

My husband was referred to Mr Khera after suffering a lot of abdominal pain. From the very start, when making the diagnosis, a great deal of care & concern was shown by Mr Khera. After making the decision to operate, which was not taken lightly, & after test, scans & an xray ( due to the my husbands age (80)a warfarin & heart patient ) a pre operative appointment & an admission appointment for the operation was sent to us within the month which we are sure Mr Khera organised due to my husbands condition & anxiety. He was 1st on the list, Mr Khera performed the operation by doing keyhole surgery which took one & a half to two hours to complete. Mr Khera visited him on the ward were he stayed for 3 days at Mr Kheras request, to restart the warfarin & make sure all was well before discharging him home. His recovery was very good due to the keyhole surgery. Mr Khera 'signed him off' after 8 weeks, when he examined him in outpatients & was pleased with his findings. We were extremely grateful & impressed, at the way Mr Khera treated both my husband & myself, & feel very fortunate that he was our Consultant.

Having been wrongly diagnosed over nearly a two year period during which time no real interest was shown in my condition, I was pleased to finally be examined by Doctor Khera who adopted a much more positive approach which resulted in a more professional diagnosis putting my mind at rest by explaining the problems and advising on how to treat it in the future.

Dr. Khera was friendly and easy to talk to. He had an approachable manner and made me feel at ease during my appointments.
